Luxury apartment developer Gurner has unveiled the first two towers of its $600 million landmark Brisbane development, Flatiron and Valley Houseor FV.

Designed by Elenberg Fraser, the three buildings will have more than 3600 square metres of luxury retail, 4300 square metres of resident amenities and 981 residential apartments.

Founder Tim Gurner announced that an additional eight million dollars has been invested into further upgrading the apartments, lobby and amenity area to “push the limits of what is possible in apartment living” in Brisbane.

“Everything about this project from the incredible lobbies, the FV Private Club and 5-star resort-style service, through to the luxury-appointed interiors and striking façade, has been designed to raise the bar for luxury residential living in Australia,” said Gurner.

FV includes four pools, a moonlight cinema, three VIP spa and dining areas, a commercial-sized Life Fitness gym, a yoga studio, additional private dining spaces and resort-style sun decks.

Multiplex first commenced construction in April 2015. Gurner also signed Winning Appliances as the key anchor tenant, moving its showroom into the apex of the Flatiron building earlier this year.

“FV is just the first of many projects we will deliver in Brisbane over the next five to 10 years so we look forward to playing an important role in the transformation of Brisbane’s skyline with quality, design-led, landmark buildings that will form part of the city’s design narrative for years to come,” said Gurner.

Flatiron and Valley House are now complete, with residents poised to move in from early next month. The project’s third and final tower, ‘No.1’, is also under construction via builder Icon and is likely to reach completion by mid-2019.
