According to realestate.com.au, Fortitude Valley was the most tightly held suburb in Queensland last year, with only .63 per cent of houses in the suburb listed for sale. Buyer demand has resulted in a rush to already secure 80 per cent of the 56 apartments at Baxter St.
Forrester Properties Director Tom Forrester says the exclusivity of the offering has created a sense of urgency for purchases.
The Baxter St Apartments are located minutes from the new King Street precinct, which is nearing project completion. It is expected to add to the growing list of hot spots in Fortitude Valley, with a new cafe and wine bar, deli and convenience store and private dining room on its ground floor. Baxter St Apartments Development Manager Scott Forrester says, the development is taking shape at a time when purchasers are increasingly aware of the importance of choosing a property in the right location.
The remaining apartments are a mix of two bedroom apartments with one or two bathrooms, offering up to 88sqm of living space. The 320sqm rooftop terrace will offer a number of entertainment amenities, such as a rooftop pool, community herb garden, outdoor lounge, sun deck, BBQ and entertaining area and bike storage for each apartment.
