UDIA Sunshine Coast Mass Transit Project

We know the population is booming on the Sunshine Coast and the challenge now is how do we improve transport to support the growing population. UDIA Queensland has invited Neil Scales, Director-General Department of Transport and Main Roads to update UDIA members on public transport considerations for the Sunshine Coast. Sunshine Coast Council Cr Rick Baberowski will present the Mass Transit Project results of the community engagement process and the content of the finalised Options Analysis. The Director-General and Councillor will then be joined on a panel discussion by Steve Grant from Sunshine Coast Airport and developer Brook Monahan, from Mosaic Property Group. Hear from Council on the Mass Transit Project, and the State’s view on transport for the Sunshine Coast region and the key issues and potential solutions currently being discussed.
