Sea Front Villa gets its name from its unique position as a front line luxury property overlooking the sea. This property is located in Quinta da Marinha, a well-known resort in Portugal, that is considered the Portuguese Riviera for its lovely dune extended beaches, ancient enchanting palaces and refined lifestyle. This twelve room family house, designed by Arq Tailors, was intended to be a showcase for elegant, contemporary architecture and design. In order to fulfil this expectation, this project respects the beauty of the natural surroundings and sea view, by using pure, well framed lines, lots of fenestration and glass as key features.

To serve an indoor-outdoor dialectic purpose, the architects specifically utilized extra slim window frames, of almost non-existent expression, instead of walls and to create a dilution in the space. The materials and finishes used were sourced from around the world and selected for their quality as for beauty, rarity and sustainability. Warm woods cover the floor, ceilings and wardrobes, unifying and enlarging the rooms while adding a peaceful, natural quality to living spaces.

Also, all of the home’s bathrooms are covered with marble, that come from personally selected stone, that were cut and executed to measure, customizing each space. Some other extras that make the project a stand out include extended ceiling heights, floor-to-ceiling doors, light and temperature balance detectors and bathrooms equipped with a stunning range of chrome and nickel fittings.

The ground floor features the dining room, living room, one bathroom, three bedrooms, one suite, an office, a fantastic inner garden and a large modern kitchen with an island. All rooms are oriented towards the sea and outdoor deck to provide a true sense of seamless indoor-outdoor living. On the second floor there are two more bedrooms and two suites, including the fantastic master suite with a generous sized dressing room, along with a private terrace over the Atlantic ocean. There is also a basement, which serves as a natural light area that houses an indoor pool & spa, a home cinema, a guest apartment with two service bedrooms, a garage and storage facilities.
